  • Shabana Mir, Associate Professor of Anthropology at American Islamic College, gave a lecture titled “Everything has changed but we can’t: Muslim religious responses to Covid-19” at The Ali Vural AK Center for Global Islamic Studies at George Mason University. The lecture discusses the gendered dimensions of religious leader’s legal interpretive decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
