Field Guide to Digital Islamic Law Resources Roundup

The Field Guide to Digital Islamic Law, in the form of a Google document, is a collection of resource links and annotations to SHARIAsource and other Harvard resources, global online digital resources, and a robust “Digital Islamic Law Collection.” We recently added an exciting resource to this list:

  • The Turkish Official Gazette, a daily publication of all laws and rules governing the country established on October 7, 1920, recently celebrated its one-hundredth anniversary. To mark the occasion, the Turkish Presidency announced that it had completed the translations of the first 1053 issues in Ottoman script into modern Turkish. Digitized version can be viewed by using the search function on the Gazette’s main webpage, under “Arşiv” (Turkish for archive).
