This Field Guide to Islamic Law Online is an ever-growing collection of links to hundreds of links to primary sources and archival collections around the world, online. We recently added new resources to this list:

  • The al-Ṯurayyā Project is “[a] gazetteer (al-Ṯurayyā Gazetteer, or al-Thurayyā Gazetteer) and a geospatial model of the early Islamic world.”
  • The MADAR Project “is among largest in scale and depth to date when it comes to working on natural language processing of Arabic dialects.”
