Due: Tenured Position in Modern Iranian Studies, Princeton University

Princeton University’s Department of Near Eastern Studies invites applications for a tenured position in modern Iranian studies. Research expertise and teaching interests may concern any aspect of modern Iran, from the 19th century to the present; we particularly welcome applications from historians and social scientists. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the field of modern Iranian studies at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to provide training to graduate students reading primary sources in the original Persian.
