Harvard Lecture: Religious Minorities in Iran’s Constitution

The Iran Circle at Harvard presents a talk in Farsi on “Religious Minorities in Iran’s Constitution, Civil Law and Criminal Law,” by Prof. Houchang Chehabi.

The Iranian Constitution recognizes four Muslim mazhabs other than Iran’s official Twelver Shi’ism and three religions other than Islam. This does not exhaust Iran’s religious diversity, however. This talk will look at the various ways Iran’s legal system deals with the issue of religious diversity.
