Remote Talk: “Disability in the Arab World,” Georgetown University

The Brown Bag Lunch Series on “Disability in the Arab World” at Georgetown University aims to explore disability as an issue of social justice and human diversity in the context of the Arab world. Join the second session via Zoom next Tuesday, February 11, from 12.30-1.30 pm, featuring Halla Attallah, a doctoral student in Georgetown University’s Department of Theology and Religious Studies. She will discuss the sociocultural model of disability, how that figures into her work, and its implications.

The series is cosponsored by the Georgetown University Disability Studies Program and the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies. For more information, contact Timothy Loh at timloh@mit.edu.
