Join the Summer Language Intensive Program at Istanbul University and enhance your academic research skills in Modern Turkish and Ottoman Turkish. This program is ideal for MA and PhD students in the fields of history, literature, and Islamic studies.
Program Dates:
July 7th – August 8th, 2025 (5 weeks)
Class Schedule:
Weekdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
(4 hours daily, 20 hours per week, 100 total hours)
Levels Offered:
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced
Program Fee:
1,500 USD
Included in the Program:
- 100 hours of intensive language training
- Access to the Islamic Studies Institute Special Collections Library
- Seminars by field experts
- Guided tours to key historical sites: Historical Peninsula, Süleymaniye Manuscript Library, and Presidential Archives
- Refreshments (hot & cold drinks and snacks)
- Istanbul University certificate upon completion

- Maximum of 10 students per class
- Visa, flight, accommodation, and health insurance are not included
