The University of Virginia, Department of Religious Studies, invites applications for the Irfan and Noreen Galaria Assistant or Associate Professor in modern Islam and liberal democracy, to begin in Fall 2020. Regions of expertise may include Europe and North America, the Middle East and Africa, South, South East, or Central Asia; and methodology and approach are open.
