DUE: Tenure-Track Professor in Modern Middle East History, Harvard University

Position Description: The Department of History seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in modern Middle East history, with an emphasis on the Arab world from the late Ottoman to the contemporary era. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2018. The appointee will teach and advise at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Basic Qualification: Doctorate or terminal degree in History or related discipline by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research is desired.
