Harvard-Yale Graduate Conference in Medieval History | January 2022 Call for Papers

January 28, 2022 - January 30, 2022

From the organizers:

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the fifth Harvard-Yale Conference in Medieval History. The conference will be held at Yale University on January 28-30, 2022, and all current Harvard and Yale graduate students are encouraged to submit papers. The goal of the conference is to foster discussion and the exchange of ideas between our two vibrant scholarly communities. As such, papers on any aspect of medieval history are welcome and we invite submissions from interested students in any department or discipline.

Each paper should be limited to 15 minutes in length. Students interested in presenting a paper should submit abstracts of 250 words to the organizing committee at either [email protected] or [email protected] by Monday, November 15, 2021.

Information related to transportation and accommodation will be provided in late December. In the meantime, please do contact the organizing committee with any questions. We also encourage those of you in adjacent committees to circulate this CFP further.

Sincerely,
The Organizing Committee:

Paul Freedman (Yale University)
Dan Smail (Harvard University)
Kristen Herdman (Graduate co-organizer | Yale University) Shahrouz Khalifian (Graduate co-organizer | Yale University) Sama Mammadova (Graduate co-organizer | Harvard University) Reed Morgan (Graduate co-organizer | Harvard University) Megan Perry (Graduate co-organizer | Yale University)
