  • In “Jarā’id: A Chronology of Arabic periodicals (1800-1929),” Adam Mestyan (Duke University) and his colleagues explain their collaborative project entitled Jarā’id and its 2020 edition, which is a research tool and a bibliographic database in TEI XML (in English and Arabic) containing around 3300 Arabic titles and information about the global Arabic press between 1800 and 1929. The website also offers some visualizations of the data.
