  • The Program in Islamic Law and the Library of Congress have announced a historic collaborative project whereby the official gazettes of Muslim countries will be identified and analyzed from a copyright perspective.  Editor-in-Chief Professor Intisar Rabb commented that “these sources — combined with careful research and data science tools — will make for unparalleled research advances for scholars of Islamic law and other fields, worldwide.”
  • In “Muslims are a growing presence in U.S., but still face negative views from the public” (Pew Research Center, September 1, 2021), Besheer Mohamed (Pew Research Center) discusses various statistical figures relating to how Americans perceive Islam and Muslims, and how perceptions vary based on political affiliation.
