  • In “Sharia Maqashid Urgency In Management of Handling Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia” (International Law & Law of the Muslim World 1, no. 7 (2020)),  Rida Hesti Ratnassari (STIE, Indonesia) finds, through a literature review and other “documentation studies,” that Indonesia’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic has not been fully compliant with maqāsid al-sharī’a, the main objectives of Islamic law.
