The Field Guide to Islamic Law Online, in the form of a Google document, is a collection of resource links and annotations to SHARIAsource and other Harvard resources, global online digital resources, and a robust “Digital Islamic Law Collection.” We recently added exciting resources to this list:
- Al Jazzar Mosque Library: The project digitized the manuscripts of the Al Jazzar Mosque Library which date to the 14th century in an effort to preserve them. A few manuscripts from the 18th century were also added.
- Najah University Manuscript Collection is composed of manuscripts donated to the university by prominent families from Nablus, in addition to some manuscripts which were brought to the university by professors. These manuscripts have been digitized and are available online.
