Field Guide to Digital Islamic Law Resources Roundup

The Field Guide to Digital Islamic Law, in the form of a Google document, is a collection of resource links and annotations to SHARIAsource and other Harvard resources, global online digital resources, and a robust “Digital Islamic Law Collection.” We recently added exciting resources to this list:

  • Maktabat al-Waqfiyyāt is a database of edited texts in Arabic across genres, but not full-text searchable. It is cross-linked with versions uploaded on archive.org and sometimes Maktabat Shamela. Some tabqāt texts are available in the category of tarājim: http://waqfeya.com/category.php?cid=25.
  • IIUM Online Library comprises monograph, articles and conference/proceedings papers in English and Malay languages; ranges from the general theory and ideological benchmark of Islam, to the articulation of Islamic approaches to problems and challenges in legal issues.
