Drouhot (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity), employing “road network analysis” based on “a unique geolocated data set built from online repositories of Muslim institutions,” documents the extent of Muslim integration in Paris. Contrary to popular narratives of segregation, Drouhot finds that “the presence of Islamic institutions is widespread within the city.”
