- In “Takaful Insurance: Its nature, Ruling, Characteristics, and the Challenges It Faces” (Jordan Journal of Islamic Studies 20, no. 3 (2024)), Fatima Al-Khawaldeh “conclude[s] that takaful insurance is permissible under Islamic law, as it is based on the principle of donation and does not aim to profit from others’ money.”
- In “Hermeneutics of hadith about music: Fazlur Rahman dan Khaled M. Aboue el Fadl” (Al Quds: Jurnal Studi Al Quran dan Hadis 8, no. 2 (2024)), Hibatul Wafi (UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia) and others, “[u]sing the hermeneutical approach of Fazlur Rahman and Khalid about El-Fadl,” conclude that “music is permissible within the limits of Islamic law.”
- Ana Echevarria (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Madrid, Spain) reviews Jocelyn Hendrickson‘s (University of Alberta) Leaving Iberia: Islamic Law and Christian Conquest in North West Africa (Harvard University Press, 2021) in the Journal of the American Oriental Society, JOAS (144, no. 3 (2024)).

- In “Legal Protection and Justice for Franchise Business Operators from an Islamic Law Perspective” (Journal of Ecohumanism 3, no. 6 (2024)), Agung Satryo Wibowo (Faculty of Law Sunan Giri University, Indonesia) and others, “us[ing] an empirical juridical legal approach to explore the concept of franchising, Islamic legal principles, and the impact of legal protection on franchise business operators,” conclude that “[f]ranchise businesses can be a suitable form of enterprise that aligns with the values and principles of Islamic economics, providing a positive contribution to the economy and society overall.”

- Pigham-i Imruz is a Farsi periodical that can be accessed online through a webpage maintained by the Digital Library of the Middle East. The online collection comprises 91 issues of the periodical.
