  • In “The impact of Shariah supervisory board and Shariah audit committee on CSR adoption at Islamic banks”  (Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Business (JAFEB), vol 8, no. 3 (2021)), K. M. Anwarul Islam (Millennium University, Pakistan) and others, using a dataset consisting of 309 questionnaires answered by managers and officers at various Islamic finance banks, find a strong correlation between the presence of strong Shariah Audit Committees / Shariah Supervisor Boards at banks and the adoption of corporate social responsibility rules by the same.
