Alizeh Ahmad is a masters of theological studies candidate at Harvard Divinity School (MST ’18). Her research focuses on “deviancy” as a label used in contemporary Islamic legal institutions, exploring its authoritative reach and relationship to gender and rights-based activism. She is a research Assistant for HDS Religious Literacy Project
