Amel Bensalim is a PhD student in the Department of History at Princeton University. Her research interests revolve around medieval Maghribī social and legal history. Her previous work has considered law codes, diplomacy, and social change in the medieval Mediterranean. She holds a BAH in History from Dalhousie University, and a MA in History from Queen’s University.
