  • “In an unusual petition filed with the Jerusalem District Court, Israel‘s Population Authority [has demanded] the annulment of a young Muslim man’s conversion carried out by a private rabbinical court in the West Bank town of Efrat.”
  • Taliban’s chief spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the Taliban government was preparing a new media law that would be in conformity with Islamic law.   • “A delegation of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB ) has been assured by the chairman of the Law Commission of India that no ‘substantial change’ that could alter the basic features of the Sharia law will be suggested to the government in drafting of a proposed Uniform Civil Code (UCC).”
  • “It is necessary to strengthen the development of an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem that is based on the values of sharia (Islamic law),” Vice President Ma’ruf Amin recently stated, commenting on Indonesia‘s financial markets.
